This was written for my friend Amy Koppelman. I had decided to write 10 songs in ten days....most turned out pretty lousy but this one was a keeper. If i recall correctly Amy said something to me on the phone that sparked this song. She was watching a lot of old movies at the time and her telling me about the movies and the characters in them, was like listening to stories about her friends.
